You can install Windows XP Professional either
from the bootable CD or through a network
installation using files that have been
copied to a network share point. If your computer can’t
boot to a CD, you can start the installation
with the WINNT or WINNT32 command-line utilities,
dependant on the current operating system you
are using, once the computer has started and the
CD-drive is accessible.
The Windows XP Professional CD is a bootable
CD. To start the installation, you simply
reboot your computer and boot to the CD. The
installation process will begin automatically.
